In her most recent blog post “I’ve Got A Gypsy Soul to Blame” Madisyn Fecko of Scout & Molly’s posted some really great shots with our Miyoshi Silk Tube Maxi Dress in cherry red. We love everything about the filtered red hues cast over her photos, and the movement of this Gypsy05 design as she plays with different poses. Although this cutie fashionista is living and working in the East Coast and couldn’t make it out for Coachella, we love her style and her free spirit nonetheless. There’s something in her writing about her wanderlust for California and the music festival that is now synonymous with bohemian fashion that’s got us intrigued too. On her blog she wrote: “In honor of Coachella fashion, let's look at this Gypsy 05 tie dye strapless maxi. Let me begin by saying that I never wanted to take this gem off. I'd wear it to bed, yoga, Chipotle, class, and Coachella if I could. Bury me in this dress. It couldn't be any more perfect. When I put it on I immediately began skipping around and dancing with a peace sign in the air. The length, color, material, fit.. Heaven. With one weekend of Coachella down, it’s amazing to see the love and support the Gypsy05 brand has gotten from attendees wearing Gypsy05 across social media platforms. We love when fans engage with us and share how they are styling their Gypsy05 pieces, so we thought we’d share some of these insta Gypsy pics with you as well!  

Last month, Gypsy05 participated in Cotton's 24 Hour Runway Show in sunny South Beach, Miami for the second annual show spotlighting amazing designs in cotton fabrics. When we reported last on this event, we showed you a behind the scenes look at the scenery, our brand rep Lauren mingling with E- Entertainment hosts and celebs in the VIP lounge, and a few snaps from the runway. We are now finally able to show all 18 looks straight from the runway, courtesy of the event coordinators at Cotton. Event attendees were so excited about the relaxed looks from our men’s and women’s collection;  Many of which are still available to purchase on Gypsy05.com

Early last week, Cat Wright of Racked LA headed over to Bevery Hills Juice Club with Gypsy05 momma bear Osi Shoham who is the company’s chief designer and co-founer alongside her brother Dotan Shoham. She chatted away with Cat about the company, being a mom to three kids, what inspires her, and of course answered some quirky fun facts. Osi exudes so much energy and inspiration that it's no wonder fans of the Gypsy05 brand are interested to know more about her on a personal lever. Fashion and style blogger Stephanie Liu of Honey & Silk recently featured Gypsy05’s 100% cotton gauze Goa Spaghetti Strap Maxi Dress on her bog. The OC fashionista gushes about this piece and how it fits both her love for style and comfort. She says she feels most in her element when she’s in beautiful, flowy maxis and we have to say, this easy breezy piece is quite amazing! She goes on to describe “I feel right in tune with this Gypsy maxi, because of its fun, detailed embroidery at the hem which emphasizes the ebb and flow of the dress.” This piece has since sold out, but there are tons of other great maxis to shop to get Stephanie’s relaxed and chic look. 

With Coachella just around the corner, A-list attendees are looking for some great festival fashion. Yesterday, Gypsy05 participated in a Coachella styling and press event alongside our girls at The Shop PR at a West Hollywood boutique hotel –  Farmer’s Daughter to offer celebs, bloggers, stylists, and fashion industry tastemakers a chance to view our designs and grab some pieces from our current and upcoming collections. When we arrived at the location, we were welcomed by sunny Los Angeles skies, amazing finger foods, and champagne. We decided to decorate our cozy, country style hotel room with mason jars filled with beautiful bright tulips, scented candles, and with blankets and pillows from Gypsy05’s growing home collection. There was a really great energy in the crowd of people who came out to the event as excitement continues to grow over the weekend long Coachella music festival. Our team was so happy to see celebs like Audrina Patridge, Niki Reed, and Alexa Vega come through and gush over their fave Gypsy pieces and how they’re going to style for Coachella. We were also super excited to chat about the collection with bloggers Rachel of That’s Chic and Annabelle of Viva Luxury who tell us they’ve been fans of Gypsy05’s comfortable and stylish designs from the beginning. We also greeted some great stylists from MTV and E! Entertainment.

We are so excited to see the fashion at the Coachella shows, so on that note, we thank The Shop PR for hosting an amazing event and wish all attendees safe travels as they head over to the dessert for the Coachella music festival. xxo 

While the Gypsy05 brand is built on designs that blend bold, beautiful colors, we thought it would be refreshing to experiment designs that are interesting in a much more understated way.Gypsy’s deep V-Cut styles from the Spring 2013 Hampton collection are great key pieces to add to a spring wardrobe and they reflect minimalist designs that incorporate great details at the neckline and in the cut which makes them easy to incorporate into your wardrobe over and over again! We really love the color palette too! 

Fashion blogger Jenny Wu of Good, Bad, and Fab recently featured Gypsy05's Katori Button Up Short Sleeve Blouse on her blog post. This L.A. based, USC Law School grad describes herself as a "young fashion lawyer by day, seasoned fashion blogger by night” so it’s great to see her incorporate this piece into both her work and play wardrobe. She makes our floral blouse functional to both of these worlds by incorporating pieces that speak to each of these parts of her life. We love how she paired classic pieces like a knee length, A-line skirt and simple striped long sleeve, leaving Gypsy’s pretty spring time, apricot colored blouse peeking through to give the outfit just enough of a splash of color and playfulness. If you watch her video, “What to Wear and How to Look Indie at Coachella When You’re a Lawyer” you’ll see strip down the office clothes and transform this outfit to music festival ready by leaving on Gypsy05’s top and incorporating other, more music festival friendly pieces. Fashion blogger Aimee Song of Song of Style recently wore Gypsy 05's Kashmir Sleeveless Button Up Top. We love how she styled this beautiful feminine piece with short denim overalls, a beautiful statement necklace, a nautical inspired blazer, bright neon sneakers and added a funky mirrored skateboard as a prop. Looking so cute and super stylish Aimee! It's always great to see how fashion influencers implement our designs into a style that is unique to them. Aimee tied in so many different elements of style to complete this look and did so beautifully! Thanks for being a fan of the brand Aimee!

 This season, our menswear designs have had a nice dose of stripes. We love these masculine pieces that are both comfortable and stylish and horizontal stripes have never looked this good!
