One of the most important gifts you can give your mind and body is solitude, today we're all so connected to our cell phones and social media that we forget to take time for ourselves to decompress.Your mind needs peace and silence in order to function at it's best. Each day you should be blocking out a certain amount of time for yourself to just sit and simply be. No cell phones, no tv, just you and your mind. You'd be surprised how much you can learn about yourself and how reenergized you'll feel. Here's some things you can do.

With all the negativity going on in the world today it's easy to forgot how to be a kind human being. Social media has put the negativty of others on the fore front with all the bashing and shaming that takes place in the comments. You'd be surprised how it will make you feel to lift someone up and how it creates a chain reaction for more positive vibes that the world needs right now. In order to see progressive change we have to start with ourselves and instead of bashing others lift them up, after all you never know what someone else is going through and your small gesture could have a major impact.
